Senior Accounts And Tax Manager

Overview
Working as Senior Accounts and Tax Manager, and reporting into the Directors. Will be responsible for the management of a portfolio of clients, including Limited Companies, Sole Traders, Partnerships and individuals. Will also be required to carry out preparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns, so knowledge and experience of this will also be required. Will also be responsible for the management of junior and other staff members, so the ability to delegate and review work is essential. Based in our Liverpool office and working as part of a team of 16. Overall reporting line into Partners.Requirements
Experience in an accountancy practice - minimum of 5 years requiredAccuracy and attention to detailAbility to manage time and meet deadlinesAbility to speak with and advise clientsKnowledge of current accounts and tax legislationKnowledge of CCH would be preferable, although not essentialKnowledge of Xero, Quickbooks, Sage is requiredDuties to include
Provide end-to-end business management services to clients, including bookkeeping, cash flow management, payment processing, and financial oversightPrepare statutory accounts and ensure compliance with relevant reporting and disclosure requirementsCoordinate tax filings and maintain regulatory compliance for client entitiesAct as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day financial operations and delivering tailored adviceOversee and execute banking transactions and client payment schedules in a secure and timely mannerMaintain confidentiality and uphold the highest professional and ethical standards in all interactionsCorporation Tax computations and ReturnsVAT ReturnsBookkeepingCompany Secretarial dutiesPreparation of Self-Assessment Tax Returns for individuals and partnerships
