About the Opportunity

Our client is a leading specialist contractor delivering exceptional fit out and refurbishment projects across the commercial, retail, and leisure sectors. Known for their innovative approach and commitment to quality, they have built a strong reputation and an impressive portfolio of blue-chip clients.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they are now seeking an experienced Estimator to join their pre-construction team.

The Role

As Estimator, you will play a crucial role in securing new business, producing accurate, competitive, and profitable tenders for a range of fit out and refurbishment projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse drawings, specifications, and contract documents to prepare tenders and budgets.
• Engage with clients, attend site visits, and pre-tender meetings to fully understand project requirements.
• Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations.
• Identify value engineering options and potential risks.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to develop winning proposals.

About You

We’re looking for candidates who can demonstrate:

• Proven experience estimating fit out and/or refurbishment projects (commercial, retail, or leisure sectors ideal).
• Excellent understanding of construction methods, materials, and cost drivers.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
• Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
• Confident communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency with estimating software and MS Office.
