We’re working with a growing Design & Build fit-out contractor based in Hertfordshire, seeking an Assistant Estimator to join their expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and work directly alongside the company director.

About the Role: You’ll support the estimating function on fit-out projects ranging from £250k to £3.5m. Duties will include:

• Taking off drawings and preparing detailed quantities.
• Completing pricing documents accurately and efficiently.
• Using pre-agreed framework costs for pricing.
• Sending out enquiries to the supply chain and chasing returns.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in taking off from drawings is essential.
• Strong attention to detail and good communication skills.
• A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
