Contract Opportunity: EC&I Engineering Manager
Location: North West (Hybrid - 1 day remote)
Contract Length: 12 months (with high likelihood of extension)
Rate: -6570 per hour (Outside IR35)
Hours: 4-day week (Monday to Thursday, 10-hour days)

We are currently seeking an experienced EC&I Engineering Manager to lead a portfolio of high-integrity engineering projects within the nuclear sector. This is an exciting opportunity to join a specialist engineering environment, managing and delivering complex, safety-critical solutions.

• Lead and manage EC&I engineering activities across multiple nuclear engineering projects.
• Provide technical governance and oversight to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and customer requirements.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to drive effective project delivery.
• Support and mentor a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Act as the key technical interface with clients and regulatory bodies.

• Extensive background in EC&I engineering within the nuclear sector - with experience at AWE or Sellafield particularly advantageous.
• Proven experience in engineering leadership/management roles.
• Strong understanding of nuclear safety, standards, and governance.
• Live Security Clearance (SC) highly desirable.
• Able to operate independently, with strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
