About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and experienced

Electrical Installation Lecturer

to join our academic team on a

temporary basis , with both part-time and full-time roles available. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching in electrical installation, preparing learners for careers in the building services and electrical trades.

Key Responsibilities:Deliver practical and theoretical teaching in electrical installation up to Level 3 (and potentially Level 4)Plan, prepare, and assess course content in line with awarding body requirements and industry standardsSupport and guide students through their learning, offering academic and pastoral careEnsure the highest standards of health and safety in workshop and classroom settingsTrack student progress and provide timely, constructive feedbackContribute to curriculum development and quality assurance processesRequirements:A recognised qualification in Electrical Installation (e.g., Level 3 NVQ, AM2, or equivalent)Industry experience as a qualified electricianA teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed) or willingness to work towards oneUp-to-date knowledge of current IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition)Strong communication and organisational skillsDesirable:Experience teaching in a further education or vocational training environmentAssessor and/or Internal Verifier qualifications (e.g., TAQA, A1, V1)Experience delivering apprenticeships or work-based learningFamiliarity with blended or digital learning toolsIf you''re passionate about training the next generation of electricians and committed to delivering excellence in education, we''d be delighted to hear from you.
