Production Support Engineer

Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Support Engineer to oversee the day-to-day technical support of multiple studios in the UK. The successful candidate will provide technical support to a user base of employees and production, all utilizing the client studio technology and applications. This on-site role requires travel to different studio locations; it is NOT a remote position.Responsibilities
Focus on ensuring a high level of support is maintained for usersCommunicate with production and departmental teams within the studio about their IT needs, and answer questionsBe a subject matter expert on all IT responsibilities and continuously improve knowledge through learningRequired Skills and Abilities
Experience working in a technical troubleshooting and/or support engineer role in a production settingStrong working knowledge of MAC, Windows and Linux supportAbility to handle multiple issues, prioritizing and effective management of your timeUnderstanding for virtual desktop environment and remote desktop technologyAbility to work in a fast paced production environmentDesired Experience
Previous experience working onsite for film production or animation/VFXExperience with helpdesk automation tools, remote management applicationsExtensive analytic, debugging, and problem-solving skillsAttention to detail, curiosity, and a desire to learnAbility to communicate highly technical information to a variety of people, in both verbal and written formCompensation
