The role oversees the management and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts throughout the year, contributes to improved financial processes, and ensures timely completion of statutory financial returns. It also provides strategic oversight of the Council''s debtor position, supports service charge calculations, and acts as the lead contact for HMRC on tax matters.
