We are inviting applications for a fixed term Locum Consultant Cardiologist. Applicants may have completed CCT or equivalent (Pathway Portfolio) and be on the Specialist Register although not essential for this Locum appointment.GeneralAll consultants in the department have a continuing and individual responsibility for the care of patients in their charge and a general responsibility to provide, in conjunction with their colleagues, an effective service to meet the needs of local people within the resources available.The job plan is expected to consist of 10 programmed activities. The exact details of job plan will be agreed with the successful candidate after their appointment.The appointee will be expected to take part in the consultant on-call rota.Main duties of the job
