As a Legal Entity Controller Associate in the Global Finance and Business Management team, you will assist in the financial oversight of our legal entities. You will collaborate with various teams to support accurate financial reporting and regulatory compliance. Your role will involve assisting in financial reporting functions, supporting balance sheet and capital hedging programs, and contributing to process improvements. Together, we will ensure a strong control environment and support the firm''s financial objectives.Job Responsibilities:Assist in the financial reporting function for UK legal entities in Asset ManagementCollaborate with financial and operational groups to provide financial analysis to managementCommunicate with internal stakeholders on legal entity mattersConduct month-end analytical reviews to ensure financial statement accuracySupport balance sheet and capital hedging programs, liaising with Treasury colleaguesContribute to process improvements to enhance reporting and efficiencyAssist in legal entity accounting and control on a monthly basisInvestigate and resolve issues, responding to ad-hoc queriesSupport compliance monitoring and establish accountability with business linesParticipate in firmwide legal entity reporting projects and initiativesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Experience or interest in finance, accounting, or regulatory reportingSuits newly-qualified accountant (ACA, CA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) or near qualificationStrong accounting and analytical skills with financial statement expertiseProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, as well as efficiency and automation tools (e.g. Alteryx, Python, OpenAI)Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and ability to adapt to changeAbility to multitask and work under pressure in a dynamic environmentExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to partner effectively and advise business partnersSuperior attention to detail and process improvement skillsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:Experience or interest in legal entity and financial statement preparationAbility to prepare presentationsFamiliarity with regulatory reporting requirementsPassion for enhancing efficiency and control in financial operationsAbout Us
