Prospero Teaching are working closely with a specialist SEND school in Dudley is looking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant to support students with Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD).

This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about inclusive education and is confident supporting learners with complex needs.
This is a long-term, full-time role, starting as soon as possible, with the potential to become long term for the right candidate.

Key Duties:
- Supporting pupils with a range of physical, sensory, and learning needs
- Assisting with personal care routines, including toileting, feeding, and hygiene
- Implementing EHCP (Education, Health and Care Plan) targets under guidance from teaching staff and therapists
- Encouraging independence, engagement, and communication using specialist tools and strategies
- Ensuring a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working with PMLD or complex SEND (either in a school or care setting)
- Calm, patient, and positive with a genuine desire to support pupils with high needs
- Comfortable assisting with personal care and manual handling (training can be provided)
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the needs of a diverse group of learners
- Valid DBS (on the Update Service) or willingness to apply for one
- Additional qualifications in SEND, Moving & Handling, or Team Teach are advantageous but not essential
