Office Administrator

Laker BMS provides building maintenance and refurbishment services to social housing providers and local authorities throughout the Midlands and South. We are looking for both full time and part time administrators to join our small friendly team in Birmingham on a permanent basis. The role is office based.It would be 42.5 hours a week (8am to 5.00pm, 5 days a week, Mon-Fri). Rate of pay from £25k - £27k p.a. full time, pro-rated for reduced hours, subject to experience. 21 days holiday + bank holidays, and company pension.Duties would include, but not limited to:To deal efficiently and in a professional manner with all customer enquiriesRaising and scheduling jobs, and diary planning via our job management systemLiaising with multiple clientsDealing with customer enquiries via telephone and emailRaising purchase orders for materials and subcontractorsInvoicing and service trackingRequired skills:Strong administration experience within a busy office environmentHighly organised and confidentExcellent communication skills both written and verbalAbility to manage your own workloadStrong computer literacy – Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.Ability to remain calm under pressurePrevious experience with a responsive maintenance and heating company (desired but not essential)Ability to commute/relocate:Birmingham: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)To apply for the role please forward your CV and work portfolio to Laker BMS Ltd to info@lakeruk.com .
