Day Support Worker

Location: Millcroft, Seacroft, Leeds

Salary:

£12.60 per hour + Overtime (£14.10 per hour) / £25,225.20 per annum

Hours:

Full-time, 38.5 hours a week, 7:45am - 7:45pm shifts on a two-week rolling rota:

Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, SundayWeek 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

Active Pathways are looking for a Daytime Support Worker to join Millcroft House, our Step-Down Residential Rehabilitation service located in Seacroft, Leeds.

As a Support Worker, you will:

Support individuals on their journey to recovery through person-centred care in a rehabilitation setting.Help residents develop independent living skills and achieve personal goals.Work within a multidisciplinary team to build positive relationships with residents.Provide emotional and practical support to residents.Promote engagement in meaningful activities and encourage social inclusion.Assist with daily living tasks and support residents in accessing education, employment, and the community.Promote independence and self-confidence, helping residents regain control over their lives.

Experience Required:

Experience within a Mental Health or Rehabilitation settingCan build rapport with ease with not only the residents but the wider teamUnderstanding the importance of offering person-centered quality care
