We are recruiting for a Lead Health and Safety Business Partner - Construction to join us and provide HandS support to the Parliamentary community. The Parliamentary Safety Team (PST) is a bicameral team that sits within the House of Commons Governance Office. The team is responsible for the provision of specialist advice, support and independent assurance that Parliament is managing safety sensibly, consistently, proportionately and effectively, and for the development and embedding of a positive safety culture across the wider Parliamentary community. The Role The Health and Safety Business Partner Lead (HandSBP) is a member of the Parliamentary Health and Safety team and reports to the Head of Health and Safety. The purpose of the role is to support the Head of Health and Safety Operations in providing consistent advice and support to their specific area of responsibility, and for line management of the Health and Safety Business Partners/ Health and Safety support. The Health and Safety Business Partner Lead will work collaboratively with the other Health and Safety Business Partners Leads to enable standardisation in process and approach and will help to promote and foster the positive safety culture throughout their area of responsibility in support of the HandS Transformation Programme.
