This is a fantastic opportunity to develop practical skills and creative thinking in our bright students across Key Stages 3 and 4 (aged 11-16), and potentially Key Stage 5. What you''ll be doing: You''ll be planning and delivering engaging Design and Technology lessons, nurturing creativity and technical proficiency in areas like product design, engineering principles, and digital fabrication. It''s about guiding students through the entire design process, from that initial spark of an idea to the final prototype, using a variety of materials and technologies. You''ll cultivate a safe and stimulating workshop environment where students feel empowered to experiment, innovate, and build valuable practical skills for the future. What we''re looking for: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Design and Technology. Experience teaching engaging and effective DandT lessons at Key Stages 3 and 4 is highly desirable. A strong understanding of design principles, manufacturing processes, and, of course, a keen eye for health and safety.
