A Special school in Islington is looking for SEN teaching assistants to join their team to work in the Primary and Secondary classes. The pupils have a range of special needs, including Autism and Learning and Behavioural Difficulties.The school has found people with a Psychology background fit in well at the school and tend to work well with the pupils. Responsibilities
Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Primary and Secondary classes, including those with Autism and Learning/Behavioural Difficulties.Assist teaching staff with daily classroom activities and routines.Help monitor pupil progress and behavior, and support inclusive teaching strategies.Contribute to a positive and safe learning environment and maintain pupil well-being.
Qualifications
Background in Psychology is considered a good fit for this role.Interest in pursuing a career in Psychology and related fields.Ability to work effectively with pupils with diverse needs and to collaborate with school staff.
