CNC Miller Setter Operator Location: Coventry Hours: Double days Salary: £16.69 an hour Our client is currently recruiting for a CNC Miller Setter Operator to join their established and growing engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced CNC professional to work within a well-equipped, fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting the production of high-quality components. Key Responsibilities of a CNC Miller Setter Operator Set up and operate milling machines and associated equipment safely and efficiently. Produce components in accordance with technical drawings, route cards, and work instructions. Carry out tool changes, offset adjustments, and machine parameter settings as required. Conduct quality checks using appropriate measuring and gauging equipment and ensure all documentation is accurately completed. Maintain and improve 5S standards on the shop floor. Participate in routine maintenance and Total Preventive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Identify and highlight opportunities for process and efficiency improvements. Ensure compliance with all departmental and company quality standards. Work safely and report any health and safety risks. Train and support other operators as required. Liaise with other departments to support production schedules. Perform any additional ad-hoc duties as necessary.
