Job Advert Location Description

Cleveland house is a 32 bedded rehabilitation home and we provide multidisciplinary rehabilitation for adults with acquired brain injuries.

We are looking for a highly specialised

Speech and Language Therapist

to work within our MDT alongside Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, medical and nursing teams.

The candidate should be someone with specialist clinical knowledge and experience in Adult Neuro-rehab. The post holder will provide assessment and intervention to address complex communication, swallowing difficulties and tracheostomy needs.

The post holder will be joining a friendly team who have a desire to achieve the best outcomes for our patients.

Requirements:

Specialist skill and experience of working with brain injuries in a mixture of physical, sensory, cognitive, emotional and psychological difficulties eg disorders of consciousness, acute and long term traceostomy and ventilated dependency.
