This role sits within the Manufacturing Engineering department and offers the chance to influence and drive change in an established wing production facility. The ergonomics team is small but highly influential, working closely with operations, design engineering, and health and safety to optimise human working conditions and improve overall system performance. Key ResponsibilitiesAs an Ergonomist you will be responsible for conducting ergonomics work analysis of assembly and installation activities and providing recommendations to address any associated risk factors. The role involves developing and implementing ergonomic action plans aligned with industrial strategy and future evolutions, as well as contributing to specifications, tenders, and subcontractor management for ergonomics-related work packages. You will ensure ergonomic considerations are integrated into tooling and machine design, monitor regulatory and scientific developments, and maintain the tactical implementation plan for ergonomics at the site.
