A dynamic and inclusive secondary school in Aylesbury is seeking an inspirational and knowledgeable Geography Teacher to join their dedicated Humanities department from September 2025.

About the Role:
- Design and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons aligned with the KS3 and KS4 Geography curriculum
- Create a stimulating, inclusive, and safe learning environment that promotes critical thinking, curiosity, and global awareness
- Employ a variety of formative and summative assessment methods to track student progress and inform future planning
- Build strong, supportive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to foster both academic and personal growth
- Actively contribute to the broader school community through enrichment activities, educational trips, and cross-curricular initiatives
The ideal candidate will:
- Experience teaching Geography at secondary level is desirable but not essential
- Reflective and adaptable teaching approach, with strong classroom management and effective differentiation strategies
- Committed to inclusive education, safeguarding practices, and supporting student wellbeing
- Excellent communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills
- Enthusiastic about ongoing professional development and collaborative team working
