Application Support Analyst

OverviewOn a daily basis you will be providing support for Lumera’s suite of leading policy administration products to our clients. You will also be responsible for the deployment of ad hoc software fixes. You will be liaising with clients directly and also Lumera staff at all levels to ensure issues are resolved successfully.
What you\''ll be doing
Provide support for Lumera’s suite of Products to our internal and external customers, resolving business application problems within service level agreements (SLA)
Writing SQL queries to resolve issues and improve existing functionality
Peer reviewing and testing colleagues’ work
Record and track all problems/requests reported to the Support desk
Maintain and create support desk documentation
Become familiar with and support new technologies and software as and when they are introduced to the company
Share knowledge and best practices
QualificationsEssential
The ability to communicate well at all levels
To have client facing experience
To be a self-motivator and help others to achieve goals
The ability to work well under pressure and remain focused
The ability to work within a team and make a positive contribution, but still able to work independently
Experience of supporting software applications
SQL Query writing and document writing skills
Microsoft SQL Server and MS Office experience
Proven analytical and problem solver abilities
The skills to create and updatedocumentation to a high level standard
Experience of working with Defined Contribution Master Trusts
Desirable
Some pensions administration/calculations knowledge
Financial Services background
Experience working within a fast-paced technical support team
Pensioner Payroll experience
