Overview

Lead Data Engineer - Python, SQL, GCP, Kubernetes, DBT, Airflow and BigQuery. OB has partnered with a leading scale-up in the AdTech space, hiring for a Lead Data Engineer to join the team and work on the development of the Data platform. This is a hands-on role with line management of a small team.Responsibilities

Hands-on design and development of data pipelines in real-time and distributed streaming environments.Line manage and mentor a small team of 3 Engineers with a plan to grow the team over time.Collaborate on the evolution of the data platform and cloud infrastructure.Contribute to data reliability, quality, and performance across the data stack.Qualifications

Experience as a Lead Engineer or Tech Lead.Strong hands-on experience in Data-heavy environments, including Real-Time Data Pipelines and Distributed Streaming Pipelines.Proficiency in Python, SQL, GCP, Kubernetes, DBT, Airflow, and BigQuery.UK-based candidates only; visa sponsorship is unavailable.Hybrid working model with 3 days per week onsite in Central London.Job Details
