Job Title: Occupational TherapistLocation: Underley Gardens School, Kirkby Lonsdale LA6 2DZSalary: Up to £53,200 pro rata (dependent on experience)Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, hours to overlap with core school hours. Part-time hours may be considered.Contract: Permanent (Term time only, or flexibility around full-time contract can be discussed based on your personal circumstances)Role and Responsibilities
We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Underley Gardens School. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into consideration the needs of our pupils. You will contribute to creating an environment where pupils can flourish and grow in independence, and support the growth of apprentices, students and therapy assistants as part of developing an enhanced occupational therapy offer within the service.Deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils with developmental trauma, neurodivergence or SEMH needs.Work within the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working to guide practice in an education setting.Collaborate with education teams to support pupil outcomes and independence.Contribute to developing an enhanced occupational therapy offer through supporting the growth of apprentices, students and therapy assistants.Qualifications and Requirements
Experience and alignment with the standards described by the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. The role supports collaboration with multidisciplinary teams within education settings and emphasizes personalised learning and outcomes for pupils.Benefits and Professional Development
