We are excited to be recruiting for a Hospitality and Retail Head Chef to work with us at wonderful BandI site currently going through a huge refurbishment.About the site: This BandI site provides lunch for 400-500 people every day. We provide hospitality events weekly and are looking to grow these on site.Location: EC2V 5DDRate of pay: £50,000 - £55,000 per annumWorking pattern: Monday-Friday, 40 hours per week - 7am to 3.30pmKey Responsibilities:This position involves managing a team of 7 including senior sous chef, sous chef, chef de parties and kitchen portersTo prepare and oversee all preparation of food to the highest standardTo produce food in a timely fashion to ensure smooth service to the customersTo ensure that all appropriate ingredients are available for the menusTo develop and plan menus that are in line with client and customer expectationsTo be creative when menu planning and including the client and customersPride yourself on food quality and hygiene standardOverall responsibility for managing the kitchen teamProvide feedback and coaching on performanceTo ensure that the kitchen team have completed up to date COSSH and Food Hygiene trainingOur Ideal Candidate:We are looking for an ambitious and experienced head chef who has worked within BandI contract catering or hotels with banquetingWill have great communication skillsStrong leadership abilityPassion for creating innovative retail and hospitality offerings on siteWhat\''s in it for you?Working with Vacherin has its perks!
