Job Title: Buyer

Contract Type: Full-Time, Temp to Perm
Working Hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am – 4:00pm

We are currently looking for an experienced and proactive Buyer to join our procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with purchasing experience who is confident working in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Raise and expedite purchase orders for raw materials, factored goods, and packaging in line with business needs and targets.
• Ensure accurate delivery confirmations in DAX.
• Manage the purchasing mailbox, ensuring timely responses and avoiding duplicate communications.
• Set up and maintain vendor accounts.
• Liaise effectively with suppliers, hauliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth procurement and delivery operations.
• Handle XP orders where required.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Previous experience in a Buyer or equivalent purchasing role.
• Strong working knowledge of MRP systems.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Desirable:

• Experience using DAX or similar ERP systems.
