About The DepartmentThe Data Insights Team within the Data and Analytics department is dedicated to standardising reporting processes, establishing best practices, and contributing to the development of a Centre of Excellence that enables scalable, high-quality analytics across the organization.
About The RoleWe are looking for a data-driven and collaborative individual to join our team as a Data Analyst. This role is ideal for someone passionate about turning data into actionable insights, with a strong foundation in Power BI, SQL, and stakeholder engagement. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality analytics that support strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver analytical projects aligned with business priorities, using Power BI, SQL, and DAX to generate actionable insights.
Build and maintain dashboards and data models, translating findings into clear narratives and visualisations.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements, shape technical solutions, and communicate outcomes effectively.
Ensure outputs meet data governance standards, promote responsible data use, and support documentation of data assets.
Contribute to a high-performing team by sharing knowledge, adopting best practices in coding and data storytelling, and exploring emerging technologies like AI.
About The CandidateThe ideal candidate will possess the following:
Proven experience developing Power BI dashboards and data models.
Proficiency in DAX, SQL, and/or Python for solving business problems.
Solid understanding of data architecture and modelling principles.
Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and cloud-based data platforms (desirable).
Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and continuously improve.
