Reporting to the Global Finance Services Director, the role holder is responsible for the financial management accounts activities, leading a UK/Manila-based team covering multiple legal entities across many geographies (UK, US, Europe, APAC) to provide finance services to NCC Group. The role includes implementing the new finance target operating model, transitioning accounting roles from decentralised locations to a UK and Manila-based Centre of Excellence.The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of financial accounting services across two centralised locations, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving continuous improvement.Responsibilities
Monthly Performance:Lead the financial management accounting team responsible for Record to Report across multiple legal entities over different geographies (US, UK, Europe, APAC).Ensure revenue accounting is in line with applicable accounting standards, accurate and prepared on a timely basis.Lead the team to prepare and reconcile accurate cost reporting and completeness of cost accruals and prepayments.Lead the management accounts team in the review, investigation and resolution of variances.Support the management accounts team in the preparation of the month end reporting pack.Financial Control and Governance:Prepare all necessary journal entries with supporting documentation.Support VAT returns for Danish, Spanish and Dutch entities.Support intercompany reconciliations with the rest of the Group.Lead the management accounts team in preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations in line with policy.Ensure regular reviews of accrued and deferred income for accuracy and recoverability.Calculate provisions such as bad debt and accrued income provisions.Ensure documentation and processes are maintained and updated in line with global procedures.Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards, proactively identifying risks and issues.Drive continuous improvement to streamline processes and enhance service delivery.Relationships:Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including delivery teams, finance partners, billing, credit control, AP, auditors, regulators, and external accounting providers.Lead and develop a high-performing team with coaching and support.Transformation:Develop and implement global financial policies, procedures and controls aligned with best practices and regulatory requirements.Review and ensure Kantata fit for purpose for the Fox Cyber (The Netherlands) business.Execute a transition plan to migrate decentralised management accounts services to the new target operating model.Analyze processes, systems and resources to identify improvements within the new operating model.Carry out other duties as reasonably requested by leadership.Qualifications and Skills:ACA, CIMA or ACCA certification is highly desirable.Degree level education or equivalent.Strong knowledge of global financial regulations, accounting principles and best practices.Strong knowledge of IFRS15 and experience in a professional services firm is preferred.Proven track record leading a Management Accounts team in a global environment.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound financial decisions.Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder collaboration.Demonstrated ability to drive change and implement process improvements.Proficient in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.Behaviours:Focus on Clients and CustomersWorking as One NCCBeing Inclusive and RespectfulDelivers BrilliantlyWhat we offer in return:Flexible Working: Balance work and personal life with flexible options.Generous Holiday Allowance: 25 days plus bank holidays, with option to buy up to 5 extra days.Financial and Investment Benefits: Pension, Life Assurance, and Share Save Scheme.Community and Volunteering Programmes: opportunities to volunteer.Green Car Scheme: eco-friendly car scheme.Cycle Scheme: cycle-to-work scheme.Special Time Off: time off for significant life events.Family Planning: maternity/paternity leave and support for fertility treatments.About NCC GroupThe NCC Group family operates globally with offices in multiple regions and a commitment to helping customers protect their brand, value and reputation in a changing threat landscape.Our values and code of ethics emphasize collaboration, creativity and inclusion.
