We are hiring more Police Community Support Officers (PCSOs). As the key link with communities across Surrey Police, PCSOs play a critical and visible role in helping keep communities safe, identifying and protecting the most vulnerable and preventing harm. Be aged 17 at point of application. You must be 18 before you can start.Have a full UK manual driving licence, by the time of appointment.Hold a GCSE A*-C (4-9) or Level 2 Functional Skills qualification in English and Maths. If you do not hold an equivalent level 2 qualification you will be referred to Functional Skills UK and will be required to complete the qualification(s) prior to your End Point Assessment.You must have lived in the UK for three continuous years immediately prior to application.Have leave to enter or leave to remain and work in the UK for an indefinite period.Not have six penalty points or more.Not be a member of the British National Party (BNP) or other relevant organisations.Not have tattoos which could cause offence.Not have served a prison sentence.Why Work With Us?
