to join their team on a

3-month temporary basis .About the Role:As Sous Chef, you''ll work closely with the Head Chef to deliver high-quality cuisine for weddings and special events, as well as day-to-day dining. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate chef to gain experience in a high-volume, event-led kitchen.Key Details:Contract: 3 months

Hours: 40 per week (some evenings/weekends required)

Rate: £18 per hour (paid weekly)

Start date: asap

Key Responsibilities:Support the Head Chef in preparing and delivering menus for weddings and hotel guests

Oversee kitchen operations in the Head Chefs absence

Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety

Supervise and guide junior kitchen staff

Ensure smooth service during busy functions and events

Requirements:Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Junior Sous Chef in a hotel or events setting

Experience working in high-volume environments, ideally weddings or banqueting

Food hygiene certification

A calm, team-oriented approach with a passion for delivering quality food
