Baby Immunisation Wound Management Smear Test ECGs Asthma and COPD reviews Infection control duties To manage patients with chronic disease, running specific clinic sessions and maintaining robust call and recall systems Participate in national screening work such as cervical cytology and deliver the national immunisation and vaccination schedule Provide travel health advice and administer appropriate vaccinations Treat patients with minor injuries and provide wound care. Provide directly and assist GPs with contraceptive services Communicate with Community to achieve best patient outcome. Act as chaperone when required Undertake health promotion to help educate patients Undertake regular infection control audits and act as an infection control lead. Undertake anticoagulation clinics to include interpretation of blood tests and dosing (in the event of absence of other member of staff) Act as IPC lead for the practice Responsible for developing and implementing all policies and procedures relating to the nursing team and IPC. Provide oversight for the HCAs
