School Caretaker | Hammersmith and Fulham | Immediate Start
Location: The London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham

Pay: £15 – £19 per hour (depending on experience)

At Coyles, we are currently recruiting on behalf of a large secondary school in Hammersmith and Fulham, who are looking for an experienced and dependable School Caretaker to join their site team immediately.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a background in caretaking, facilities, or general maintenance to contribute to a safe, clean, and well-functioning school environment.

About the Role:

As the School Caretaker, you will be responsible for:

• General site maintenance and repairs
• Opening and securing the premises
• Liaising with contractors and school staff
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety across the site
• Supporting with furniture moves, deliveries, and minor plumbing or electrical work

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a caretaking, maintenance, or similar hands-on role
• A proactive, can-do attitude and the ability to work independently
• Good communication and organisational skills
• A full UK driving licence is highly desirable (but not essential)
• An Enhanced DBS is required for this role
  • If you do not currently have one on the Update Service, you will need to apply for a new DBS.
  • We can assist in processing a new DBS for successful candidates who do not already hold one.
