About the role

We''re looking for someone to join our expanding team of plants and laptops. The job doesn''t have a glass ceiling; we''re looking for someone to grow as the company (and the plants) grow. The Team Assistant will join an expanding team and it''s a hybrid position requiring a minimum of two days in the Farringdon office on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Working with Business Development Managers to coordinate and schedule meetings for up to sixteen clients.
  • Proofreading and amending internal and external correspondence.
  • Communicating with clients professionally via email, attending client meetings, and maintaining email inboxes.
  • Conducting research on industry trends and companies of interest to Carbon Global and its clients.
  • Assisting with client onboarding, which involves taking detailed notes, preparing documents and folders, and managing file structures and databases.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders on specific client strategies.
  • Working with other Team Assistants, as well as the Client Success and Leadership teams, to improve internal processes.
  • Leading and maintaining projects that integrate into client CRM systems and optimize internal systems.
  • Conducting admin training for all team members and newcomers.

The ideal candidate is a highly focused and organised individual with a desire to learn and grow.

Required skills:

- Ability to prioritise in a constantly shifting environment.

- Acute eye for detail and precision.

- Excellent written and verbal English language skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Calm under pressure and able to multi-task.

- Ability to anticipate, identify, and strategically solve internal and client issues.

- Excellent typing skills for producing accurate and detailed notes.

Desired skills:

  • Proactive and comfortable contributing to discussions.
  • Experience with CRM systems and Google Workspace/Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of GDPR and data protection practices.
  • Additional languages.
