LondonDescriptionThe Corporate Tax Department currently comprises of a Senior Manager, two Assistant Managers, a Senior and two trainees, overseen by two Partners. The Department advises clients across the practice and the work undertaken is very broad.Focusing primarily on owner managed businesses, the team also handles large transactions, including areas such as EIS, share schemes and everything in between.We require a Manager to join our growing Corporate Tax team. The role will primarily comprise corporation tax compliance work but with the opportunity for advisory work.Key Responsibilities

Managing a portfolio of clientsPreparing and reviewing tax provisions for inclusion in statutory accountsUndertaking complex compliance work and corporate tax computationsManaging filing of corporation tax returnsDealing with HMRC correspondenceProviding advice on corporation tax matters to the audit teamsAssisting the Partners with corporation tax advisory mattersManaging the preparation and filing of ATED and EMI returnsTraining and coaching more junior staffOther ad hoc duties in line with the roleSkills, Knowledge and Expertise

The ability to deal with complex compliance for primarily owner managed businessesPrior experience of managing a portfolio of clientsGood written and oral communicationThe ability to work in a teamStrong computer literacyThe ability to motivate othersThe successful candidate should ideally be CTA qualified and have at least 5 years'' experience within corporate tax, including at least two years PQE.It would also be beneficial if the successful candidate had experience using Alphatax, although training will be provided.Benefits
