Lead the overall management and performance of the residential home in line with the Statement of Purpose and Ofsted/CIW regulationsProvide effective leadership, support and supervision to the teamMaintain high standards of care, safeguarding, and compliance with legal frameworksEnsure children’s care plans meet their emotional, educational, social, and therapeutic needsConduct audits, internal quality checks, and prepare for Regulation 44 and Ofsted/CIW inspectionsManage rotas, staffing levels, handovers, and resource planningContribute to budget management and operational decision-makingPromote positive outcomes through trauma-informed, inclusive, and therapeutic approachesWhat we are looking for

Essential:· 2+ years’ experience

in a supervisory or management role within residential childcare· Level 3 Diploma

in Residential Childcare (or equivalent)·Strong understanding of

child development, trauma , and therapeutic care approaches·In-depth knowledge of

safeguarding , care standards, and the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015/ Regulation and Inspection of Social Care (Wales) Act 2016.·Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate staff teams·Confident use of

Microsoft Office

(Word, Excel, Outlook)·Full

UK Driving Licence·Strong written and verbal communication skills·Ability to plan, delegate, and manage a dynamic workload·Flexibility, resilience, and the ability to perform under pressure·Commitment to

ongoing professional development·Willingness to complete

Level 5 Leadership and Management

qualificationDesirable:· Level 5

qualification in Leadership and Management·Experience with

therapeutic frameworks

or therapeutic qualifications·Demonstrated

financial acumen

and budgeting experience·Proven
