Location: Ealing Role: Art Teacher (Full-Time, Permanent)

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and challenging Art lessons across Key Stages 3-4, encouraging a wide range of artistic exploration.
• Inspire students to develop their skills in various artistic disciplines, fostering individual expression and creativity.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice and enhance the Art curriculum, promoting diverse artistic pathways.
• Contribute to the assessment and monitoring of student progress in Art, valuing individual artistic journeys.
• Potentially lead extracurricular Art clubs or contribute to school art exhibitions, celebrating student creativity.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Degree in Art, Fine Art, or a related field.
• Proven experience teaching Art at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply) with a focus on encouraging student expression within an expressive and engaging setting.
• Strong subject knowledge in both traditional and contemporary art media, with an understanding of diverse artistic approaches.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire creativity and expression in art within a supportive framework.
• A collaborative mindset and a willingness to contribute to a creative school art community, valuing individual artistic voices within a brilliant and encouraging environment.
