Job Description:
The Art Teacher will teach students across KS3 and GCSE, encouraging experimentation with a broad range of media including painting, sculpture, printmaking, and digital art. The department is dedicated to fostering artistic skills alongside personal development.
Responsibilities:

Plan stimulating lessons that develop technical ability and creative exploration

Support students in building strong portfolios for GCSE assessments and beyond

Manage resources, maintain studios, and organise exhibitions of student work

Lead extracurricular clubs and art-based community projects

Collaborate with cross-curricular teams to promote creativity school-wide
Candidate Profile:

Degree in Fine Art or a related field plus QTS

Experience teaching diverse groups with an ability to differentiate learning

Strong organisational skills and a passion for nurturing young artists

Enthusiastic about integrating new technologies and interdisciplinary projects
