Behaviour Support Worker - Oldham:Prospero Teaching are currently seeking an experienced behaviour support worker to join a large provision in the Oldham area. You will be supporting pupils aged 4-18 with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.The Role:Providing 1:1 mentoring and pastoral support to studentsBuilding strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents and other staff membersHelping to create a positive and inclusive learning environmentUsing de-escalation and positive reinforcement techniques to support progressPosition Details:Position: Behaviour Support WorkerLocation: OldhamType of Work: TemporaryFull Time/Part Time: Full-Time onlyMinimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experienceStart date: Sept 2025End date: OngoingExperience, Training and Qualifications:Experience working with children or young people with behavioural needs (in schools/youth work settings)A calm, patient and empathetic approachTeam Teach training is highly desirableUp to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)To be eligible for this role through Prospero Teaching, you must: Hold Right to Work in the UKHold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new applicationProvide two professional referencesOtherIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
