PRODUCTION OPERATIVE Location: Near Thetford (must have own transport) Salary: £26,500 + regular overtime Hours: • Mon Thurs: 08 45 • Fri: 08 00 Holidays: 25 days per year (Jan Dec) + bank holidays We are recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role involving the assembly, preparation, and packing of products before dispatch. A great opportunity for someone reliable and practical who is looking for a long-term position with full training provided. The Role You will work as part of a team to carry out a range of production tasks, including: Preparing components and materials Assembling products to manufacturing standards Applying fittings, fixtures, labels and other product details Packing, palletising and preparing items for delivery Using air and powered hand tools (training provided) Reading and working from manufacturing drawings (training provided) Following all health and safety procedures Supporting with general production duties as required Manual handling is involved. The heaviest individual panel weighs approx. 15kg. About You Reliable, punctual and able to manage your workload Strong attention to detail and able to work to deadlines Confident using or learning hand/power tools Good communication skills within a small team Full driving licence and own transport (site is 5 miles outside Thetford) Experience with CNC machinery is desirable but not essential.
