Junior Sous Chef

Manpower Recruitment are looking for a Full Time Permanent, Junior Sous Chef in an established restaurant based in Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.This is a Full-Time role, working 5/7 days and would need flexibility to work Weekends, Evenings and Mornings The role is paying up to 36000pa depending on experience + tips Live in option available for a fee Must drive or live local, due to locationSplit Shifts required between shifts as mixture of splits and straights.Kitchen is operational between 10am-10pmCar parking close to Restaurant Overall Objective: The RolePreparing meals for restaurant and functions using seasonal produce and productsRunning service in Head Chef''s absenceManage kitchen operation, including health and safety, hygiene The PersonAlready a Chef looking for a new challenge in a busy restaurantExperience of working with fresh food to a high standardCapable and able to work unsupervisedFlexibility in working hours.Skills and experience that we are looking for are as followsExcellent time keepingPractical kitchen skills i.e. able to demonstrate knowledge and experience using tools such as kitchen knives and machineryGood food knowledge and a desire to give your best to every dishGood communication skills when liaising with staff members as well as customers and external contractorsA keen eye for organisation and cleanlinessAt least 2 years'' experience within a fast paced, professional kitchen If interested, please get in contact with a Manpower representative ..... full job details .....
