We are recruiting an experienced Financial Controller to join a well-established and growing £25m turnover distribution business. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing the finance function, providing commercial insight, and supporting the senior leadership team with strategic decision-making.This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic distribution environment where operational efficiency and financial performance go hand in hand.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the day-to-day management of the finance functionPrepare monthly management accounts and board reporting packsLead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementEnsure robust financial controls and compliance with statutory requirementsManage and develop the finance teamPartner with operational and commercial teams to improve profitabilitySupport strategic planning and business growth initiativesLiaise with external auditors, banks, and professional advisersAbout YouFully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Proven experience as a Financial Controller or Senior Finance ManagerBackground in distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar operational sector is highly desirableStrong commercial awareness with the ability to influence senior stakeholdersExperience managing and developing finance teamsExcellent analytical, communication, and organisational skillsThe OpportunitySalary of £70,000Excellent benefits packageKey leadership role within a growing SME environmentOpportunity to ..... full job details .....
