They are seeking an immediately available Interim Financial Controller to support the finance function during a busy period. This is a hands-on BAU Financial Controller role with exposure to project accounting and work-in-progress (WIP) reporting, within a project-driven environment.The role will involve close collaboration with operational and project teams and will require monthly travel to France to liaise with international stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day financial control activities across the businessManage the month-end close process and ensure timely and accurate reportingReview and monitor project accounting and WIP reportingSupport budgeting, forecasting and variance analysisProvide financial insight to operational and engineering teamsEnsure robust financial controls and processes are maintainedSupport ongoing finance improvement projects where requiredLiaise with overseas colleagues including monthly travel to FranceCandidate RequirementsFully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)Trained in a Big 4 firmMinimum 2 years post-qualification experience in industryStrong project accounting / WIP experience within an engineering, construction, or ..... full job details .....
