Interim Finance Director - Integration

Hertfordshire (2/3 days on site, hybrid)

-1000/1250 per day outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Interim Finance Director to lead the integration of a large B2B business into its new parent company. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring an individual with proven experience of business integration and leading a business through significant change.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the integration of the acquired business into the wider group structure.
• Up-skill and develop the existing finance team to deliver accurate and timely reporting.
• Improve data quality and streamline month-end processes.
• Produce high-quality management information to support strategic decision-making.
• Strengthen financial controls, processes, and governance frameworks.

Key Experience:

• Demonstrable and significant experience of business integration (-100MN+)
• Broader M&A experience.
• B2B / long term contract experience.
• ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified or equivalent.
• Strong leadership presence and gravitas, with the ability to inspire and manage teams through change.
• Proven track record of hiring, developing, and leading high-performing finance teams.
• Proven track record of delivering process improvement at pace.
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in a fast-moving, complex business environment.
