Legal secretary - Commercial Litigation/ Employment - 1 Year Experience Preferred - £
The RoleThis is a varied and hands-on position supporting lawyers in delivering a responsive and high-quality service to clients. You will be responsible for preparing correspondence and legal documents through fast and accurate audio typing and word processing, alongside managing files from opening through to closure using the firm''s case management system. The role also involves regular client contact, both by telephone and in person, handling initial enquiries, taking messages and providing updates in a professional and personable manner. In addition, you will manage diaries, coordinate meetings and appointments, prepare outgoing post and enclosures, and store and retrieve files as required. From time to time, you may also provide support to other secretaries and departments within the firm.The Ideal CandidateThe firm is looking for a well-organised and proactive individual with previous secretarial or administrative experience. Experience within a legal environment would be highly advantageous. Strong audio typing and word processing skills are essential, together with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You will have a confident and professional telephone manner, strong organisational skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team.
