An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled and proactive Court of Protection Paralegal to join a highly regarded Legal 500 law firm, recognised for providing expert legal services to clients who require dedicated support in managing high-value settlements and estates.
About the RoleAs part of the firm’s expanding Court of Protection department, this role presents a chance to develop your expertise in a prestigious legal setting while making a meaningful impact on clients’ lives. You will work closely with individuals, families, and carers, offering practical and financial assistance, including:
Managing day-to-day finances and bill payments
Assisting with budgeting and financial planning
Coordinating purchases, including vehicles and essential expenditures
Conducting annual home visits to provide ongoing client support
The CandidateThe successful candidate will either have prior experience as a Court of Protection Paralegal or a professional background in financial management within a fast-paced environment. Essential skills include:
Strong financial judgment including budget management and payment processing
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Exceptional communication skills, with a confident telephone manner
Negotiation abilities, ensuring financial arrangements align with clients’ needs
Proficiency in IT, particularly case management systems
