Your new company They are now looking for an IT Infrastructure Support Engineer.This role operates across five current locations with primary responsibility for local sites'' IT infrastructure support, security posture, IT-related projects, and infrastructure improvement programs.Your new roleYou will be responsible for the day-to-day IT infrastructure support and enhancements of infrastructure applications, cloud-hosted applications, hosted business applications, and back-office IT infrastructure (i.e. server, network, database administration, EDI, and cybersecurity), including changes, patching, upgrades, and implementation of new capabilities. A Managed Service Provider (MSP) is partnered with Group IT to aid in servicing the business and monitoring the IT and security infrastructure 24/7. Working with the Group IT Infrastructure Manager, you will guide IT infrastructure standards and deployments within the Group.In this role, you will develop close working relationships with colleagues and third-party IT support/solution partners, maintaining a customer-focused approach. While acting as an escalation point for IT infrastructure, you will leverage third-party service partners when needed. As a service partner to the business, you will drive simplification and standardisation of IT infrastructure, applications, and tools.
