Copello are assisting a leading defence consultancy in the recruitment of an FPGA Engineer to lead the engineering activities within their clients Integrated FPGA Product Team . As a key member of their team, you will be responsible for defining and leading work packages, managing a team of FPGA engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead the engineering aspects of FPGA projects or product lines, managing a team of engineers to deliver project outcomes Define and communicate clear expectations for engineering outcomes, ensuring consistency with policies and procedures Collaborate with project managers and engineering leaders to ensure project planning, cost, and schedule are met Oversee the completion of project outcomes to quality, cost, and schedule, reporting progress and risks as needed Foster an effective dialogue with stakeholders, including project managers, systems design authorities, and FPGA teams Provide technical leadership and support to FPGA teams, including day-to-day technical queries and hands-on troubleshooting Required Skills and Qualifications: Proven experience in FPGA engineering management and delivery of projects Engineering or scientific degree qualification (or equivalent) Excellent communication and leadership skills Experience of developing FPGA using VHDL or Verilog Experienced with Mentor Graphics FPGA development tools, including HDL Designer, ModelSim / Questa, and Precision Familiarity ..... full job details .....
