RM Recruit is working in partnership with a reputable and values-driven organisation based in the West Midlands to recruit a Transactional Manager on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented finance professional to lead a key transactional finance function within a progressive, purpose-led environment. Reporting to the Director of Finance and leading a dedicated finance transactions team, you will be responsible for overseeing core financial operations including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, Cashbook Management, and Income Allocations. You will champion financial controls, team performance and continuous process improvement across the department. Main duties include: Lead and manage a multi-functional finance transactions team, fostering a culture of high performance, ownership, and delivery. Oversee all transactional finance processes ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reconciliations. Ensure balance sheet accounts are reconciled monthly and that audit trails are robust and well documented. Develop and maintain financial controls, process documentation, and ensure policies are aligned with best practice and legislation. Collaborate cross-functionally to build trust in finance systems, drive efficiencies, and promote understanding of key processes.
