Pastry Sous Chef

to lead the pastry section in a high-end kitchen at a stunning venue in Skipton. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative pastry professional to bring their skills and ideas to a forward-thinking team, working with quality ingredients in an inspiring environment.The Role:As Pastry Sous Chef, you will take full responsibility for the pastry offering, supporting the Head Chef in delivering high-quality desserts, afternoon teas, bakery items, and bespoke event creations. Youll have creative input in menu development and ensure consistent standards are maintained across all service periods.Key Responsibilities:Lead the day-to-day running of the pastry sectionDesign and produce innovative desserts and baked goodsMaintain high standards of food presentation and qualityOversee stock control, ordering, and section hygieneTrain and mentor junior team membersCollaborate with the wider kitchen team for events, banquets, and afternoon teasContribute to seasonal menu planning and developmentWhats in it for you?£35,000 per annum plus £2000 tips
