Assembly Team LeaderLancing 30-40K Experienced Assembly Team Leader required to work for a specialist manufacturing business in Lancing. We are looking for someone with proven management skills combined with a positive, "can-do" attitude and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for this position, together with reliability, punctuality and the ability to provide leadership and motivation to your team. Production Responsibilities Master all Assembly processesTrain and mentor new production staffAttend daily production huddles in order to understand workload priorities and schedule work accordinglyLiaise with the Production Manager regarding staffing requirementsBrief your team on project specifics and distribute work to staff members whilst giving consideration to their individual strengthsPick bulk issue components required for completing works orders every dayTake full responsibility for Primary Assembly quality controlUse Barcoding and Warehousing to complete works orders etc.Use software packages Shop Floor Data Capture to feedback operation times etc.Apply lean manufacturing principles in order to eliminate waste and drive continuous improvement in all areas of productionKPIsPrimary Assembly workbenches to be fully prepared by 07:30am every morningProduction area to be left clean, tidy and organised at the end of every day ("A place for everything and everything in its place") Qualifications Some of the following would be useful but are not necessarily ..... full job details .....
