We are recruiting Residential Support Worker for our specialist children''s home, which is closely connected to a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school. This is an exciting opportunity to use your knowledge and skills to support young people with a range of needs, including autism, learning disabilities, and complex care requirements.

• Nursing Students & Qualified Nurses

• Physiotherapy Students/Graduates

• Biomedical Science Graduates

• Psychology or Health Science Graduates

• Background working with SEMH children

Your background in healthcare or medical studies provides you with valuable skills in communication, care, and emotional support-all of which are vital in this role.

• Providing compassionate, person-centred care to children and young people

• Assisting with daily routines, personal care, and therapeutic activities

• Supporting emotional, social, and physical wellbeing

• Helping young people develop independence and life skills

• Administering or assisting with medication (training provided)

• Working closely with the SEN school staff, healthcare professionals, and families

• Keeping accurate records and care documentation

• A genuine passion for supporting children and young people

• Strong communication, empathy, and patience

• A positive, flexible, and proactive approach

• Willingness to learn-full training provided

• Flexibility with shift patterns, including weekends or evenings

• Flexible shifts-ideal to fit around studies or other commitments
