Laser Operative Job Role Description Key Responsibilities Set up and operate laser cutting, engraving, or marking machines according to job specifications Interpret technical drawings and CAD files to ensure accurate production Monitor machine performance and make adjustments to laser settings (speed, intensity, focal point) Inspect finished products for quality and dimensional accuracy Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on laser equipment Maintain a clean and safe working environment, following all health and safety protocols Record production data and report any issues or defects to supervisors Skills and Qualifications Experience operating laser cutting or CNC machinery (preferred) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and precision Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Work Environment Typically based in a manufacturing or fabrication facility May involve standing for long periods and handling materials Use of protective gear may be required due to laser equipment and materials ..... full job details .....
